WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in specific stats. Each upgrade item increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade item gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the item being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. Upgrades are items that can be used for tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will show an image of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current item level upgrade - Gm6699.com, level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for instance. This change is intended to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they only have one use. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character that will be able to avail the account-wide discount if all slots are full of high-quality equipment.
