WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item upgrading used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.
