How to Replace an Audi A3 Spare Key G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

If this sensor fails, the ECU will display the P00160 error, which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft aren't in sync and possibly indicating the chain is stretched or a jump link on the upper chain of timing. However, the error code won't appear on its own without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
It's a bit tricky to test because there are different pins on the connector and they all have different functions. The most effective method to test it is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read about 1000 ohms when it is in full operation. If you're having issues with this part, check for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a significant decrease in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning and found that 3 were soaked with gasoline and the 4th was dry. When I crank the engine without sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline leap out, however the 4th stay closed. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is in another location.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it runs fine with the G28 plugged in. However, the intermittent misfire problem continues to occur at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even if it is not plugged in, shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.
I don't know what to do. I believe that I've ruled everything else out. But i am afraid I might have missed something. Please let audi key replacement near me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
